Valentine Card 2013-14

This is a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card. The base of the card is white card stock, I have layered gold "India" paper  and dark red cardstock that I edge punched with a Fiskars punch, also I have layered Spellbinders Vines of Passion heart and Spellbinders Decorative Labels One, for contrast I used red and white card stock. I then used white card stock for the leaf flourish, with small white flowers made with a Fiskars punch. The large gold rose I  punched 8 layers with The Paper Studio punch and added sparkle glue. The smaller red rose I punched 6 layers with a Marvy punch.  Both roses I spritzed each layer with water and wadded them up. then spread out, layered and manipulated the wet layers to form a rose And of course I used bling

The dies are Labels 18 and layered. I'm going to share a secret....because I did not have a stamp that I liked that said Happy Valentine's Day, I did it on the computer and printed it on card stock and die cut it. I love doing this as I am a font-a-holic, as well as a bling-a-holic.
