Route 66

I was asked to design some cards that had a Route 66 motif. I had the old car stamps, and a stamp with "Enjoy the Journey" and the arrow stamp in the same set (Tim Holtz). The route 66 sign is cut  from a travel book and backed with red cardstock to give color to the card. And placed a red rhinestone on the map I found on the internet, to show where the card was bought. I typed "The Mother Road" on the computer, found a font I liked and printed it out and backed it with black cardstock. And, I antiqued the whole card.

Delightful Daisies

I took Spellbinders 3-D M-Bossibilities - Delightful Daisies and cut the bottom off with A-2 Curved Border One. I water colored the daisies and the butterfly and used a butterfly I punched out to give it dimension and used rhinestones to bling it. The center of the flowers are yellow stickles for some more bling. The happy birthday is a Spellbinders die, and the corner punch is a Fiskars corner punch.
Remember, I love comments.

Cowboy card - John Wayne

This is an anything card, as I didn't put anything on the inside. This technique is fun to do but messy. My hands are all black and brown.

Butterfly birthday card for an order

Roses/leaves colored with copics

The back is shiny like the strip on the inside of the card.

Yee Haw It's your big day

Oops, I got them backwards. The horsy is on the inside and the YEE*HAW is the front of the card. I am now on a roll with cowboy cards. It's really hard, because I cannot put bling, or flowers on it.

Rosalie your order is ready

Rosalie has twins and these are the cards she ordered for their birthday.
She wanted them different styles with different colors.
I hope one of the girls is more girly than the other.
They are in their 50's.
These are two of my favorite colors for cards.

Two Mother's Day cards and boxes for an order

Above:  Front of card and top of box
below: Inside of the card

Above: the front of the card and box top
Below: the inside of the card
I have made several of this design, but used different embossing folders for the inside, used different colors for the designs and different ribbons. The flowers are the same, but the bling differs on each card. The box tops, I have used the same color as the card it goes with, and each one is different. Some of the cards I used white cardstock for the base, and others I used cream cardstock. Thanks for visiting.
