Mark's 47th Birthday card

While my living room carpet and ceiling dried, this weekend, I zentangled and made Mark this card. Then I wrote the date and "Happy Birthday Mark" in calligraphy.
To the middle of the card I did some zentangle to the side and wrote the message.
I personalized the back with a tag and my logo.

Ava's Birthday card

Front of card (Topiary (green) is her favorite color). More border dies Marthanda gave me.
Front of box for her card, as the card w/flowers will not fit in an envelope.
Inside of her card. Love BJ & Benji.

Thanksgiving Card

I made enough of these for my friends here in my apartment complex. I'm saving my stamps for all my family and friends' Christmas Cards

My last craft lessons at Leisure Village

Era with her Christmas Snowflake page.
Rosa didn't participate, she was upset that the lady didn't do her hair like she wanted.
She gave her bangs!
My mom wasn't feeling well, but she came and sat with us while we crafted. I understand that she is participating with the new activities director, which I think is great that she got her to join in.
 Carol working on her project.
She kept adding snow and snowflakes. I actually took more pics, but limited it to these.

Christmas Card

The front of my Christmas Card is made up of dies that were loaned to me by my friend, Marthanda.  I love the word dies, they are so easy to use. The gold side of the card was made with a die from Spellbinders Curved Boarders One, there is no pattern to the die so I could use the positive and the negative and just emboss them together.  The 'bling' is from Michaels. The inside of the card is a sentiment from a set that Marthanda gave me.  Thank you Marthanda, I enjoyed using these dies and the sentiments.

Grandma's Brag Book - Boy

My sister, Ava's next-door-neighbor is about to become a Grandma for the first time and Ava wanted to do something for her. So, she ordered a brag book for her. I love designing these little books. They are just the right size (6x6) for 1 or 2 pictures per page.

Don't get distracted by the pretty little girl.lol That's when I was little and cute.

Christmas lay-out

This is a layout for the ladies at the nursing home to do. I have made the flower and cut out the snowflakes & glittered them. This one is the sample, and will go on my mom's door, as she cannot see to do crafts. The 12 X 12 cardstock was donated by Marthanda, each one is a different theme The Snowflake dies were loaned to me by Marthanda. I am sure they will love crafting this project.

Nursing Home Class

Here are the ladies in my class at the nursing home. I only made kits for 7 ladies, there were 8, so one lady did not get to make a wreath.  I feel really bad about that, there will be enough for all who wants to take the class next time.
Rosa
Era & Virginia (? don't know the other lady's name) working on their wreaths

Shantel, Activities Director, helping the ladies .

Carol
Virginia
Joyce
Era
Mary

Each person made their's different than mine. That is creativity at work. You can see the sample that I made below this post.

Fall Wreath

This is for a make-and-take for the ladies at the nursing home my mom is in. (Leisure Manor). I have Volunteered to have a make-and-take once a month. They like doing things they can hang on their doors and walls. The ladies are so nice and I have a blast with them.

Mom's Name Tag for her door

My mom is in a nursing home and the lady in the room with her has flowers and a name tag on the door. I just wanted mom to have a name tag on the door also, so I crafted her one. While doing this I thought of a Christmas tag for her, ohhh, and a Thanksgiving door tag. I'll have to get busy with those. I want my mom stylin'  and give her something to smile about.
(She has Alzheimer's and dementia).

Route 66

I was asked to design some cards that had a Route 66 motif. I had the old car stamps, and a stamp with "Enjoy the Journey" and the arrow stamp in the same set (Tim Holtz). The route 66 sign is cut  from a travel book and backed with red cardstock to give color to the card. And placed a red rhinestone on the map I found on the internet, to show where the card was bought. I typed "The Mother Road" on the computer, found a font I liked and printed it out and backed it with black cardstock. And, I antiqued the whole card.

Delightful Daisies

I took Spellbinders 3-D M-Bossibilities - Delightful Daisies and cut the bottom off with A-2 Curved Border One. I water colored the daisies and the butterfly and used a butterfly I punched out to give it dimension and used rhinestones to bling it. The center of the flowers are yellow stickles for some more bling. The happy birthday is a Spellbinders die, and the corner punch is a Fiskars corner punch.
Remember, I love comments.
